About Us

The Au Sable Institute inspires and educates people to serve, protect, and restore God's earth. The Institute is a nonprofit that operates three field-based learning campuses in northern Michigan, the Pacific Northwest, and Costa Rica. Through college courses, K-12 education, and community programs, we help people of all ages explore the integration of Christian faith with care for the natural world.
